Hello Everyone,

The 2003 Hobie 17 & 18 North American Continental Championship regatta is now in the history books. How fun this regatta was!

As I said in the closing ceremonies, how bittersweet the last day was.  It was sweet because we finally finished all the races, all the work was done, and we were crowning new champions.  It was bitter because we’ve all grown so close; with new friendships made and old ones refreshed; and we were saying goodbye.  How we loved having all of you Hobie sailors at our place to sail with and to entertain.  Thank you for coming and we hope you take away good memories of our place and us.

And to those of you that took vacation time, spent hours planning, toted ice, prepared food, ran errands and gave of yourselves so that Hobie sailors and their families across the country and Canada would have an enjoyable week of sailing and entertainment, how proud I am of you. Thank you so very much.
