Lake Carlyle, Illinois

June 5 - 6, 2010

Here's the mini-vacation you've been looking for and it won't break the budget. Flying Scot Fleet #83 at the Carlyle Sailing Association, Carlyle Lake, Illinois, will host the 51st annual Egyptian Cup regatta on Saturday and Sunday, June 5 and 6, 2010.

Carlyle Sailing Association is known for its outstanding race management, plus having a well protected sailboat-only harbor with 800 feet of floating docks, 3 electric hoists and two boat ramps. Carlyle Lake provides excellent sailing conditions and open water allowing us to set a course for any wind direction.

Our weekend will feature:

· Free beer and brats on Friday night, 4 June.

· Complimentary Continental Breakfast Saturday and Sunday.

· Complimentary cocktails on shore after the Saturday racing.

· A maximum of five races, weather permitting, and we promise to get you on the road early Sunday afternoon.

The best campground in Illinois adjoins our club and affordable motels are 10 minutes away. See details on the registration form.

Best of all, check out our low prices. No bailout money needed! Please join us for a weekend of fun and camaraderie. If you need more information, just contact Mike Pitzer via email pitzerlaw@yahoo.com
