NOTICE OF RACE
Leukemia Cup Regatta

1. RULES - The regatta will be governed by the ISAF Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS)
2. ADVERTISING - The regatta is classified as a Category A Event in accordance with ISAF Regulation 20, unless class rules allow otherwise.
3. APPLICATION - Application shall be made by completing the entry form and returning it to the registration committee. Entry forms are available on CSA’s, CYC’s, BYC’s and TYC’s web sites; by calling the Leukemia Society at 314-878-0780; or in each of the club’s newsletters.
4. DONATION - The entry donation for all competitors is a
1. Cabin $50.00 2. One-Design/Multihulls $40 3. Juniors $20
5. SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
5.1 Registration – Friday, 1800-2100; Saturday, 0700-0900.
All Competitors’ Meeting – Saturday, 0940
Start separate OD and Cabin meetings at 0950
Cabins depart CSA at 1000 for 1100 sequence start
Long Distance depart CSA at 1000 for 1100 start rotation
Launch OD boats at 1000 for 11:15 sequence start
Sunday Cabin sequence start, 0930
Sunday OD sequence start, 1000
Sunday Cabin and Long distance depart CSA docks by 0900
Number of Races (Maximum) – five -- one design and one design cabin; one -- long distance
6. SAILING INSTRUCTIONS - The sailing instructions will be available at registration.
7. RACING AREAS – There will be separate racing areas/courses for one design cabins, one designs, and long distance. One Design Courses may be comprised Olympic, Windward-Leeward, or Triangular laps
8. SCORING - The Low-Point Scoring System, RRS Appendix A, will apply for all classes. One race shall be completed to constitute a series. No race scores shall be discarded. This modifies RRS A.2. Only one of the Long Distance races will be used for scoring.
9. PRIZES – Each fleet will be awarded first and second place trophies
