This work party is solely for the purpose of a deep, deep cleaning of the
Observation Building and was limited to 14 people. We still have four more
slots available for that work party. This is an "indoor" work party so
should not be effected by bad weather. If you would like to attend, please

Big Spring Work Party, Saturday, April 4th.
Our annual spring work party to launch the docks and prepare the club for the
season will be held on Saturday, April 4th. This work party will present plenty
of opportunities to get work hours in. We will have the typical projects of
launching docks, moving picnic tables, cleaning the grounds, putting the hoists
back together, etc.
Your membership packet will be available at the end of the work party. Any that
are not picked up on that day will be mailed the following day. For those that
are not up to intense manual labor of launching docks, etc. we will have a very
small group that will be stuffing envelopes to create the membership packets.
Lunch will be provided at this work party. I would like to know how many people
will be attending to prepare the right amount of food and avoid having people
looking for work. Please send me an e-mail if you would like to work and state
what kind of work you would like to do.
There is a tentative work party scheduled for the following Saturday. This will
be a final prep for the season work party. There will be no food provided at
that work party.
